Omeogo appeals to Imo state House to build economy synergy with Gov. Uzodinma

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Imo state on Revenue Mobilisation and Capacity Development, Hon. Canice Moore Nwachukwu (Omeogo Na Orlu), has appealed to members of the House of Assembly to join forces with Sen. Hope Uzodinma-led administration to build a strong economic base for the state.

Hon. Nwachukwu made this called at the weekend when he paid a familiarization visit to the Imo State House Committee Members on Internal Generated Revenue.

“My visit is for the purpose of creating synergy and moving the revenue status of the state forward for the betterment of Imo state”.

“So, I’m appealing that you take it to heart and assist the Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodinma achieve the 3R mantra of his government which is for the future of our dear state”, he explained

Responding, the Committee Chairman, who also doubles as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House, Hon. Eddy Obinna affirmed that it pleased God to bring Governor Uzodinma to Imo State to transform it into the glory of his name.

He further noted that his crossing from PDP to join the ruling APC party was inspired by God.

“Today to the glory of God, I want to inform you that I am now a member and strong voice of APC in the state.

“Whatever you want, we will assist you to achieve it, for the common interest of the state and general prosperity of the government of Senator Hope Uzodinma”, He said.

In addition, the Vice-Chairman of the committee, Hon. Paschal Okolie, representing Orlu constituency said that apart from his people, they are all together for the overall interest of Imolities.

The members of the committee were Hon. Eddy Obinna, representing the good people of Okigwe, Hon. Samuel Ogbunikpa, representing Orlu, Hon. Paschal Okolie, representing Owerri Municipal, Hon. Solomon Anukam representing Ohaji/Egbaema constituency and Hon. Okoro Herclus.
