The new Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State, Mr Nuraddeen Abdullahi, has called on officers and men of the command to support his administration by providing credible intelligence and positive decisions.
He made the call during the hand-over event and farewell speech of the former commandant, Babangida Abdullahi Dutsinma
Abdullahi, who took over on Thursday from Commandant Abdullahi Dutsema, promised to provide effective and efficient service delivery by securing lives and properties in Kaduna State.
In his hand-over and farewell speech, the command’s predecessor, Babangida Abdullahi Dutsinma, called on the staff of the command to extend the similar degree of support accorded to him to the new commandant.
Dutsinma, who has been redeployed to the National Headquarters of the corps, commended the workforce for their dedication and expressed optimism of the new Commandant’s success.
He urged the new Commandant to consolidate on the operational capability of the command, in synergy with other security agencies in tackling security threats bedevilling the state.
Commandant Abdullahi had served in seven states prior to his recent posting.
He was the last Commandant in charge of Adamawa State command where he assumed duty in February 2019.
The handing and taking-over ceremony was witnessed by Zone B Commander of NSCDC, ACG Dauda Danladi Mungadi who was represented by Commandant Abiodun Taiwo.
