Nigerian-born forward, Chidera Ejuke, has joined Russian giant CSKA Moscow on a four-year deal.
The 22-year old made the move to Russia after an impressive 2019/2020 season in the Eredivisie with Heerenveen where he netted nine goals and assisted four in the 25 league outings.
The former under-17 and under-20 star has now joined a long list of Nigerian players who have represented the Red-Blues.
Before teaming up with the 109-year old Moscow based outfit, he had previously laced his boots for Gombe United, Vålerenga of Norway and Heerenveen in the Netherlands.
Ejuke’s new team finished 4th on the table last season, and they are currently sitting at 5th on the table after 6 league games this season.
CSKA Moscow and Ejuke will also be plying their trade in the Europa League this season. The club will be seeded either in the Pot 1 or Pot 2 when the group stages draw are made later in the month.
