The Governor also described this year’s Eid-Kabir Sallah as one of the most peaceful in recent years and noted that this year’s celebration is coming at a time when the state has recorded huge successes in the current fight against banditry, kidnapping and farmer/Herdsmen clashes.
He continued, “On the dreaded coronavirus, Allah in His infinite mercy has made it possible for the state to contain the situation and there is no active case in the state. We are putting all our possible best in ensuring that Zamfara State remains COVID-19 free”.
The Governor further appealed to the people of the state to imbibe the teachings of the season irrespective of social, political, or economic divides.
He added that it was necessary for the people of the state to live in peace with one another and comply strictly with the guidelines for the prevention of the dreaded COVID -19 – which are, maintaining social distancing, regular washing of hands, regular use of hand sanitizers, and the regular wearing of face masks.
