Nigerian Professional Football League side, Plateau United, has recently signed striker Sunday Adetunji from fellow NPFL club, Abia Warriors.
The 23-year old attacker is believed to have rejected bids from other clubs, opting instead for a move to the Jos-based club.
Adetunji joins Plateau United with a wealth of Premier League experience having enjoyed success with Abia Warriors as well as a brief stint with PribramB in the Czech Republic.
In an open letter posted on his social media, Sunday Adetunji said; “A new beginning and a new challenge for me, I want to appreciate the management and coaching staff of Plateau United for this amazing opportunity to be part of this great family.”
The player would now have to wait for the opportunity to make his league debut when the 2020 NPFL season gets on the way.
