Report bad products to us, Imo CPC tells consumers

The Director-General of the Consumer Protection Commission, (CPC) Imo State chapter, Mrs. Lucy Obioma Okafor has called on people of the state to always report substandard goods to the organization.

She made this called on Friday during the awareness campaign carried out by the Commission in Owerri, Imo State.

Mrs. Okafor insisted that the consumers in the state have the right to safety, right to a healthy environment, right to consumer education and sensitization.

“Consumers in Imo state have the right to safety, right to a healthy environment, right to consumer education and sensitization and that is why we have come out today to encourage them to always feel free to report any substandard goods to the commission”, she said.

She explained that the campaign which was a mandate function for the commission was inline with the Imo State Governor’s vision of 3R, which is Recovering, Rehabilitation, and Reconstruction.
