The coalition of Kano Concerned Farmers (KSF) has reiterated their support to the All Farmers Association (AFAN) under the leadership of Architect Kabir Ibrahim, who they say remains the recognized President of the Association.
The leader of the coalition, Malam Mustapha Abdallah stated this in an interview with Hanoky Media in Kano, stressing that the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Malam Sabo Nanono, should present no other individual other than the duly elected President of the Association, in the person of Architect Kabir Ibrahim.
He also added: “The Nigerian farmers who are committed and dedicated to the progress of AFAN, trust the leadership of Architect Kabir Ibrahim to take the association to greater heights, and promote a thriving working condition that will enable the returns of the association to meet global standards”.
The farmers also advised the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Malam Sabo Nanono, to ignore some sets of persons who are parading themselves as President of the Association. They lamented that these persons have been undertaking activities that have formed the crux of the crisis that has been rocking the Association in a negative manner.
